The anticipated response time for our patrol service in the Toluca Lake area is generally between 5-10 minutes. However, depending on the location of the patrol vehicle at the time of the call, the response could be quicker. Our team is committed to ensuring a prompt and efficient response to any incidents, providing residents and clients with peace of mind.

Our patrol vehicle will be roaming Toluca Lake throughout the day for continuous coverage and enhanced security. The vehicle will be actively doing their routes by client homes, with time periods (30-45 minutes) where they will park in random locations throughout Toluca Lake to watch and surveil vehicles and people coming in and out of the community.  If patrols are constantly moving, they don’t have the opportunity to watch the neighborhood for suspicious vehicles and people. This is a vital part of the service so that we are aware of the happenings within the community.  The patrol will regularly pass by and focus on customer homes as part of its patrol route. This allows for frequent visibility and ensures a swift response if any incidents arise, providing a constant reassuring daily presence for the community.

When patrolling client properties, our armed security guard will be specifically on the lookout for:

  1. Suspicious Activity or Individuals – People acting unusually or loitering around the property, particularly during late or uncommon hours.
  2. Unfamiliar Vehicles – Vehicles parked in the area for extended periods or in locations that seem out of place or suspicious.
  3. Signs of Forced Entry – Broken windows, damaged doors, or any other indications of an attempted or successful break-in.
  4. Open or Unsecured Gates and Doors – Gates, doors, or windows that are left open or unsecured, potentially compromising the property’s safety.
  5. Suspicious Packages or Items – Packages or items left unattended near the property that could be linked to criminal activity or a threat.
  6. Unusual Behavior Near Property – Individuals engaging in behavior inconsistent with the normal activity of the neighborhood, such as surveillance or suspicious actions near the home.
  7. Any Ongoing Emergency Situations – Responding to alarms, sounds of distress, or other immediate threats indicating a potential emergency, such as a break-in or vandalism.  Our security guard is trained to identify and assess these potential threats and will take immediate action, including reporting to dispatch or contacting law enforcement if necessary, to ensure the safety and security of the home.

What are License plate cameras (LPR) that are added to the virtual Guard system and how do they help? License Plate Cameras integrated with the Virtual Guard System are advanced surveillance tools designed to capture and identify license plates of vehicles entering or leaving a designated area. These cameras are often installed at strategic locations around a property or community, such as at entrances or exits, and are linked to the Virtual Guard system to provide realtime monitoring and analysis. Here’s how they work and how they help:
  1. Automated License Plate Recognition (ALPR):
  • Real-Time Monitoring: The cameras capture license plates of vehicles in real-time as they enter or leave the area, automatically reading and recording the plate numbers.
  • Instant Identification: This data is processed by the Virtual Guard system, which can compare the plates to a database of authorized vehicles (for residents, clients, or known individuals) or flagged plates associated with criminal activity.
  1. Enhanced Security and Tracking:
  • Suspicious Vehicle Detection: If a vehicle with a flagged or suspicious license plate is detected, the Virtual Guard system can immediately alert security personnel or dispatchers. This helps in quickly identifying and responding to potential threats.
  • Incident Documentation: The system stores all captured license plate data and associated images, allowing security personnel to review the footage and track the movement of vehicles that may have been involved in a crime or suspicious activity.
  1. Access Control and Monitoring:
  • Efficient Entry/Exit Management: The system can be linked to gated communities or secured properties, automatically logging when a resident or authorized vehicle enters or exits, creating a record of all movements.
  • Automatic Alerts for Unauthorized Vehicles: If an unauthorized vehicle enters the area, security can be alerted right away, allowing for swift response and action.
  1. Improved Evidence Collection:
  • Detailed Visual and Data Logs: In the event of a crime or incident, the captured license plate data and images provide critical evidence that can be used to identify suspects or vehicles involved.
  • Collaboration with Law Enforcement: If necessary, the system can share recorded data with law enforcement for further investigation, aiding in the resolution of criminal cases.
  1. Peace of Mind for Clients:
  • The integration of License Plate Cameras into the Virtual Guard system offers an additional layer of protection and vigilance for residents and clients, ensuring continuous monitoring of all vehicle activity in and around the property. This contributes to faster response times and proactive crime prevention. These cameras greatly enhance the security system by providing valuable, real-time data that aids in detecting suspicious activity, managing property access, and supporting law enforcement efforts.

If an issue or incident occurs at your property, Iron Delta Security follows a structured reporting protocol to keep you informed and ensure swift action:

  1. Immediate Dispatch of Security Personnel: If a security guard detects a problem (e.g., break-in, suspicious activity, alarm activation), they will first assess the situation and, if necessary, immediately dispatch law enforcement or other emergency services.
  2. Real-Time Notification:
  • Phone Call/Message: You will be contacted directly by our dispatch team via phone call or text message to notify you of the situation. This ensures that you are informed as soon as the incident is detected.
  • Incident Details: In the notification, you will be provided with details of the incident, including the type of event (e.g., break-in, suspicious vehicle) and the status of the response.
  1. Ongoing Updates:
  • Our dispatch team will continue to provide updates on the situation, including the status of the guard’s actions and any law enforcement involvement.
  • If additional response or action is required, you will be notified promptly to keep you fully informed of developments.
  1. Follow-Up:
  • Our team will follow up with you after the incident to ensure that any concerns are addressed and to discuss any additional security measures that may be necessary.
